Mud tank function
A mud tank is designed for the execution of well-workover operations and well remedial work. It is applied for flushing of sand plugs and hydrate blocks, bleeding of oil-and-gas containing liquids, drilling of cement bridgings, milling of emergency equipment, well completion by means of swabbing and compressing, killing and filling of wells with Na-, Ca-, K-salt base drilling mud with the density from 1 to 1.36 kg/sm3 and other aqueous base process liquids (process water, natural drilling mud, clay and non-clay base drilling muds, inverse oil-based muds).
DESIGN FEATURES OF MUD TANKS
Thermal insulation of the tanks with polyurethane ensures a better heat storage.
It is possible also to install heaters inside of the tanks, which ensures heat storage during all the necessary time.
It is possible to manufacture tanks with rounded corners. Rolling computer numerical control equipment helps to obtain the ideal geometry of surfaces to facilitate the cleansing process and to increase the rigidity of the construction. The company can optionally mount the tank equipment on the tractor chassis for more convenient transportation and operation.
The company can also provide the equipment with treatment hatches, which facilitates and accelerates the service process.
The above equipment can differ in volume and configuration. The configuration can be changed on the request of a client.1
