HORIZONTAL GEL TANK

FUNCTION OF THE HORIZONTAL GEL TANK:

The horizontal gel tank (HGT) is designed for preparation and delivering of process fluids (gels) and their mixtures at hydraulic fracturing.

DESIGN FEATURES:

The cross-section form of the tank is a “suitcase” which provides greater structural strength. It also provides for the absence of additional centers of attack by corrosion (such as fillet welds) in contrast with the square section tanks.

The distinctive feature of the HGT is the fact that the casing is in the form of a ready-made transfer-adjusting module with upper hauling devices and with an arm designed for securing of a hook grab of the self-loader system Palift. KAMAZ 65224 used for the transportation of the HGT is equipped with this system.
