BLOCK BOX
FUNCTION
A block box is designed to arrange engineering equipment (systems of energy, telecommunications, communications, main and power equipment control) and high-voltage equipment, to provide nominal conditions for the equipment installed, to maintain the internal environment in the block box, to protect from adverse weather conditions, illegal access and vandalism, and to provide continuous operation of the equipment installed in the block-box.
DESIGN FEATURES
The block box is a solid metal skeleton construction with a profiled sheeting exterior. Its construction provides hatches for connection of mains with the hydraulic hookups of the complex, and glass packs for natural ventilation and lighting of the block box.
